1800s Technology and Fashion Illustrations

The 1800s is the time period in which most of the technology related problems in society were invented and also some of the great liberating technologies that computers are based on. I want people to realize that technologies and ideas develop over a long period of time and that the world was much more developed prior to our generation than we give it credit for. Most of the inventions of the last 20 years involved adding a computer chip to everything and are not fundamentally new in design.
